European Solidarity Corps (ESC)

We are an accredited sending organization for the European Solidarity Corps (ESC). Young people between 18 and 30 years old can spend 2 to 12 months abroad in a non-profit project through us.

Volunteering & Internship in Hagen

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to speak German to participate?
No! Many of our ESC volunteers come without German skills and learn during their stay. We offer free language courses and our team also speaks English.
What do I do as an ESC volunteer?
ESC volunteers support our youth centers in daily activities, help with workshops and events, collaborate on international projects, and bring in their own ideas and skills.
Is ESC really free?
Yes! ESC is funded by the European Union. Travel, accommodation, food, insurance, and pocket money are covered. There are no participation fees.
How do I apply?
