Our Pedagogical Approach
Our goal is to enable young people to shape their lives in a self-determined and responsible manner. Integration and peaceful coexistence of different migrant groups, as well as support for disadvantaged youth, are particularly important to us.
Critical Thinking
Questioning societal norms and structures. We encourage independent thinking and reflection.
Independence
Promoting initiative through 'Learning by Doing'. Young people learn through practical experiences.

Young people have a say – about budgets, programs, and rules in the facilities.

Our History
Founding of the Falcons
The Socialist Youth – The Falcons is founded in post-war Germany.
Playhouse Brockhausen
Our third youth center opens with a unique self-administration model.
First Erasmus+ Project
Start of our international youth exchange programs under Erasmus+.
ESC Receiving Organization
We start receiving volunteers from the European Solidarity Corps.
45+ Projects
We celebrate the completion of over 45 international youth projects.

Falken Bildungs- und Freizeitzentrum NRW e.V.
FBF Hagen e.V. belongs to the umbrella organization FBF NRW. This non-profit provider supports child and youth facilities nationwide in North Rhine-Westphalia. Through this strong network, we benefit from professional pedagogical advice, quality management, and supra-regional resources.
